ICPSR has a 45-year track record for preserving social science research data. Digital Preservation at ICPSR provides a means for us to be transparent about our digital preservation policies and practices, in accordance with prevailing standards and practices of the digital preservation community.

The documentation for Digital Preservation at ICPSR will continue to grow as we develop a comprehensive set of policies for digital preservation and as we engage in ongoing preservation planning.

ICPSR also hosts the Digital Preservation Management tutorial.

Digital Preservation at ICPSR will also be co-sponsoring a Digital Preservation Management Series running through Fall 2008.
